Healing Sessions Massage Disciplines
Reflexology works the reflexes in the feet, which correspond to all the glands, organs and other parts of the body. By working certain points or reflexes in the foot, the client can be relieved of blockages and discomfort. Circulation and elimination are both enhanced and relaxation takes place all in a 30-minute session.
Lymphatic drainage massage is the manual moving of the lymphatic fluid in the body and the draining of the lymph nodes. This massage is very cleansing and it is designed to assist in healing, detoxifying and rejuvenation the body. This massage is not designed to be relaxing, but it is essential for anyone who has chronic illness or anyone who does not exercise on a regular basis. The lymph drains naturally when the body is in motion but toxins tend to build up after long periods of inactivity. A lymph drainage session takes 75-90 minutes to complete and a series of three is advised.
Energy WorkThis healing modality takes place on an energetic level and is focused on aligning the subtle energies of the human energy field. The healing energy is moved from the practitioner to the client through the palms of the practitioner's hands. It is a gentle non-evasive form of healing which is very powerful. The client's energy is shifted and complete relaxation is attained. |
Integrative Energy Healing is focused on bringing awareness to the physical body by working with the energy field, aligning and balancing the field and working with the chakra system. Through awareness dialogue the client is encouraged to be an active participant in their own healing process. IEH can be equally effective physically on or off body and is a gentle non-evasive approach to healing. IEH is beneficial in relieving both physical and emotional pain, it assists in relieving stress, anxiety, and trauma from the body. It allows for a re-connection to self, on a soul level and brings about deep awareness and understanding of the physical body and the emotional/spiritual connection.
Cranial Sacral therapy or CST is a gentle hands on therapy which focuses predominately on the cranium (head) and the sacrum (tailbone). The experienced therapist works with the flexion and extension of the Cranial Sacral system. The technique consists of a very gentle light touch which is comforting and assists the client to move into a place of deep relaxation. In this state, the negative effects of stress on the central nervous system dissipate which encourages better overall health and resistance to disease. CST is beneficial for headaches, neck and back pain, Chronic Fatigue, misalignment, tension/stress, emotional difficulties, and, it is very beneficial when receiving orthodontic work. CST sessions are an hour in length.
